On the 30th of November, members of the team attended Oulton Park for a Staffordshire University Racing Team Bonding day.
Team members were able to run the Staffordshire University’s track car for the day. This has given team members valuable experience on what it takes to run a vehicle in a track-based environment. Members of the team were exclusively used to prepare the vehicle before the event, allowing them to gain valuable workshop experience, something the team will take into the build of the 2020 challenger.
Despite the freezing cold conditions, the team kept the morale high and made the day a great success.
Team Leader Zach Young remarked “The guys have done an excellent job today, despite the cold temperatures and an icy track, they’ve stuck together and made it an experience that I’m sure none of them will forget. The attitude shown by the team will really benefit everyone come July”.
The team would like to thank Martin our Faculty advisor for driving the vehicle all day and for organising the event. The team would like to thank Amy Dunn for giving up her time to ensure they day was a success.
